How to Knit an Ear Warmer on the Sentro Machine
Set Up Your Sentro Knitting Machine
Secure the Sentro machine on a flat surface and cast on all stitches to work on tube mode. Use a worsted-weight yarn that’s soft and warm, such as acrylic or a blend that’s gentle on the skin.
Cast On Your Stitches
Turn the handle to begin casting on stitches in circular mode. Use waste yarn and make 4 rows. For a Child ear warmer, aim for about 22 rows. If making for babies you can make 16 rows. Adjust the number of rows depending on the size you want to create.

Make 6 rows with the gray color for ribbing. Change the yarn to pink and make 2 rows, change the yarn every 2 rows alternating the colors 5x, then make 6 rows with the gray again.
Cast Off Your Ear Warmer from the circular knitting machine
Once you’ve reached your desired length, cast off your stitches carefully to prevent unravelling. Crank the machine for one row without yarn and cast off the stitches with a contrasting color yarn and tapestry needle. Cut a long tail to bind off the stitches. Around 1 m long.
Make the Headband Ribbing
To create the ribbing, transfer all the stitches from the starting edge onto a strand of yarn, just like you did with the other side, using a tapestry needle to slip the stitches. Remove the waste yarn rows. With a crochet hook, Slip stitch into the 1st stitch using the tail, then open the second stitch for 6 rows. Flip the ear warmer to the wrong side and remake the stitches, knitting where is pulled.

Bind off the top loops by working a single crochet (SC) stitch, continuing this process around the entire edge. Repeat the same steps for the other side. Finish with a Slip stitch into the 1st stitch. Cut and hide the yarn tail behind the work.
How to Make a Koala Applique
Create the Koala Face Base
This base can be used to make bears, lions, pandas, you just need to be creative.

Use a crochet hook and start with a Magic Ring.
Round 1: CH2 and DC11 in the ring Slip stitch into the 2nd CH. Close the ring by pulling the yarn.
Round 2: CH2 DC in same St. DC2 in each st around, Slip st into the 2nd CH.
Round 3: CH1 *SC 3 in each st, SC 2 in the same st. and repeat around.
Add Facial Features and Attach the Applique to the Ear Warmer
Koala Nose: With the black yarn make a Magic Ring and SC10 in the ring, Slip st. into the 1st CH and cut a long tail to seam it. Seam the nose and embroider the eyes or use black beads.
Seam the koala face to the Sentro Ear warmer. Make sure there’s more space on the front separating both koala faces.

Make 2 pom poms using the same color for the ears. Attach them on the same place on both sides. Trim the excess of yarn of each Pom pom.
